For Us? Getting married = wise spending of money + excitement in prepping + a little stress on the side.
DIY #1
Let us start with Kit-Kat! We really want a small favor for our guests upon having them seated in their respective areas come the dinner reception. At first, we thought of creating DIY favor boxes wherein we can put a few kisses in there. However, medyo matrabaho ata ito.. Uno already tried creating one but yeah, effort a bit. hehe..
Then I realized why not using Kit-Kat instead? Since every week, hindi kami nawawalan ng kit-kat sa ref, ito na lang din ang gamitin namin as favors. I will print a damask graphic in a paper, cut it like the size of a kit-kat 4-layered wrapper, wrap it using Elmer's glue, put the label on top showing the table # of each guest. We are planning to put this on top of each plate with the help of Kath/Thoffy (out OTD from The One Exclusive) para pagdating ni guest sa seat niya, voila! may kit-kat ka na! hahahahahaha.. ayos di ba? mas madali pang gawin.
Here's the step on how we did it:
1. Bought 4-layered kit-kat
2. Printed damask graphic in a coupon bond thru this site http://www.moxiefabworld.com/2010/07/moxie-monday-lush-from-my-minds-eye.html
3. Got the label of the kit-kat for the table number and other headings in a website. Sorry I forgot to take note of the actual website (I didn't know that I will be able to put up this site kasi haha!)

DIY #2
Will You Be Cards - Principal Sponsors.
Due to urgency of this matter, we need to come up with an invitation starter since we don't have the formal invite yet (we are still 30 weeks away from the Big Event).
Tita Dong, Jack's mom (fiance of my elder sister) is leaving for US in less than a month together with her husband. I searched over the internet and found a few ideas on how will I be able to create one within the month. :)
Materials:
7x5.5 Canary Yellow Envelope bought in NBS (26.00/10 pcs. pack)
Specialty Paper
Elmer's Gluestick
Name Tag of your design
Envelope Liner of your design
WYB Card of your design
How to create your own Envelope Liner:
1. Print a graphic design that you want.
2. Trace the envelope to the printed graphic.
3. Cut out the printed graphic and put gluestick on the sides of the liner (top portion, the triangle part since you cannot put a glue on the rest of the sides because you will insert this part in the envelope).
Instant envelope liner you have now!!!!
